What we collect, what we do with it, and what you can do about it.

TightFive is a service operated by Robot, DESTROY! LLC. This policy describes how we handle your information when you use our website or purchase a speech. Questions: hello@gettightfive.com.
When you place an order, we collect the email address you provide, the details you enter into the order form (the person you're honoring, stories, tone, etc.), and the payment confirmation Stripe sends us. Stripe holds your card details — we never see or store them.
When you subscribe to our email list from our site, we collect only your email address and the page you subscribed from.
When you visit our site, our analytics tools (Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics) collect anonymized or pseudonymized data about which pages you visited, how long you stayed, your approximate geographic region, device type, and referral source. When you complete a purchase, we send transaction details (order amount, product purchased, and a transaction identifier) to Google Analytics so we can measure conversion rates and improve the service. This purchase data is associated with the visitation data GA collects during your browsing session.
Order information is used to generate and deliver your speech, and to respond to any follow-up support requests.
Email subscribers receive the lead magnet they signed up for, a short follow-up sequence (three emails over seven days), and occasional broadcasts when we have news worth sending. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.
Analytics data — including purchase conversion data linked to your visit — is used to understand which pages perform well, measure how effectively we turn visitors into customers, find bugs, and improve the product. We don't sell or share this data with advertisers.
We rely on a handful of vendors to operate the service. Each processes the minimum data needed for its role.
• Stripe — processes payments. You interact with Stripe directly at checkout; we never see card details.
• Anthropic — generates the speech from your inputs. The inputs you provide (the person's name, stories, tone) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic's data practices are described on their site.
• Resend — delivers the speech PDF and our email sequences to your inbox. Resend sees your email address and the email contents.
• Vercel — hosts the site. Vercel sees request metadata (IP, user agent, URL) as any web host would.
• Cloudflare — DNS and CDN. Cloudflare handles traffic routing and sees request metadata.
• Google Analytics (GA4) — web analytics and purchase conversion tracking. We send page visit data (client-side) and purchase events (server-side) to GA4. Google may associate this data with other Google services if you are signed into a Google account. Google's privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) governs how Google handles this data. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We use a small number of cookies for analytics (set by Google Analytics to distinguish unique visitors and sessions). We do not use advertising or targeting cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on — the site will still work, though we won't be able to measure how it performs for you.
Order records: retained for seven years for tax and accounting purposes. Generated content (speech PDFs): stored on Resend's servers for 30 days per their default retention, then deleted. Email subscribers: retained until you unsubscribe, after which we remove your address from mailing lists within seven days.
You can ask us to access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@gettightfive.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us.
If you're in the EU, UK, California, or any jurisdiction with specific data rights laws, those rights apply — including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We take reasonable measures to protect your data (encrypted transport, access controls, scoped credentials for vendors). No internet service can guarantee perfect security. If we learn of a breach affecting your data, we'll notify you promptly.
Our vendors are primarily US-based. If you're outside the US, your data will be processed in the US and possibly other countries where our vendors operate. By using the service you consent to this.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page and, where applicable, by email.
